Slick Charters offers both nearshore / inshore and offshore saltwater fishing trips. Specializing in the coastal areas of the Gulf of Mexico, from Cedar Key to Homosassa and Crystal River.

With Slick Charters you'll probably depart from the Yankeetown Public Boat Ramp, at the end of County Road 40 (just down the road from Inglis). This is a centralized location for the area, providing access for fishing the coasts of both Citrus and Levy Counties, some of the best fishing in Florida.

Red FishOn an offshore trip, which is offered year around, we typically catch grouper, cobia, sheepshead, and Spanish mackerel.

On our nearshore trips we target Trout, Red Fish (Red Drum), Black Drum, and Snook, fishing the Spoil Islands and Grass Flats off the coasts of both Levy and Citrus Counties.

The "winter months', November thru February, we fish the Hot Water Discharge Canal of the Progress Energy Power Plant at Crystal River.  A wide variety of highly sought after game fish are typically caught on these trips, including Snook, Tarpon, Permit, Pompano, Spotted Sea Trout, and Red Fish

The by-catch for all these areas will usually include rays, a variety of sharks, goliath grouper, catfish, jack cravelles, and ladyfish.

For the near-shore/inshore saltwater angler, whether fly fishing, bait casting, trolling, or bottom fishing, you will experience the best in North Central Florida fishing.

In reach of a short boat ride, your private fishing charter will target fish from the Spoil Islands of the Withalacochee River, to the offshore wrecks of the Gulf of Mexico, and many locations in between.
